No pedestrian traffic will be permitted on the Red Deer River Bridge on June 9 and part of June 10 due to the ongoing construction project at the site, officials said. The sidewalk closure is being made to allow crews to apply an epoxy resin to the walkway. The complete bridge construction project started at the beginning of May and was expected to be completed by May 31. However, due to some delays caused by recent rain, the completion day is now June 14, said Gary Roberts, with Bow Valley Bridge Services.
